Case Study: Cavalier Carpets

Cavalier Carpets, a leading flooring company, approached OneNineFive to design and launch an Incentive & Reward programme to their national retailer network.

The objectives of the programme were to:

  • Increase sales and market share
  • Build stronger relationships with retailers
  • Demonstrate innovation and fresh-thinking

With a large retailer network that ranged from small town to large urban business, the design of the qualification ‘metric’ was critical in order to show integrity and fairness.

After detailed analysis of sales data we developed a 4 tier reward structure, enabling all retailers to have the opportunity to qualify and to be given stretch targets realistic to the size of their business.

We named the incentive ‘Degrees of Success’. For us, this brand demonstrated both levels of success, and the direction that your success would take you.

The reward of Degrees of Success was customised travel experiences which took groups north, south, east and west to the following destinations:

  • Tier 1: San Francisco & Las Vegas
  • Tier 2: Melbourne
  • Tier 3: Cape Kidnappers, Hawkes Bay
  • Tier 4: Queenstown

For the 12 month engagement and qualification phase, we built a stunning customised website which allowed retailers to login anytime to track their progress, and discover more about the reward destinations.

Once the qualification phase was complete, OneNineFive not only designed the reward itinerary, but provided full travel management.

The delivery of the 4 rewards was a resounding success, with positive feedback from all retailers who qualified.
